How quickly last term went. We studied the Victorians and went on a trip, in full Victorian dress, to a Victorian school museum in Braintree. In Science we studied Electricity and Light and Sound. We had great fun, and learnt a lot, in ICT when we made movies using Digital Blue cameras and Microsoft Movie Maker. In Mrs Carter’s English group we enjoyed making a talking book based on The Owl and the Pussycat poem. All the children are enjoying playing the story back and listening to their voices. Above are a few examples of the work the children did last term.

All those lucky pupils in my English Group can now get access to English homework and spellings via LGfL! Just log into you LGfL account, click on my courses and you should see Spellings and Homework for the next few weeks. Just click on one of the courses for example – A Place to Play Project and if you click on resources and then the file you will be able to view the English homework for the next seven weeks. Do the same to view the spellings. In the spellings course as well as your weekly spelling lists there are games to help you have fun while you learn them too. Please inform your parents of this blog and the homework facilities on LGfL.
